Company & Role Overview

Our client a Charity is looking for a Service Manager to join their team on a 1 year FTC. You will manage the day-to-day activities of Services, ensuring they operate in accordance with the organisation's goals, values, and purposes.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To guarantee that outreach initiatives are managed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule, while also achieving agreed-upon outcome.
  • To stay current on Safeguarding procedures and ensure staff are kept informed.
  • To ensure that the organisation continues to provide and enhance training
  • Raising awareness of the services provided by the programmes.
  • To ensure that services adhere to best practices and to develop and implement policies as needed.
  • Continue to offer and advance training and awareness-raising programs.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of Management Systems.
  • To join meetings pertinent to the Service Manager role, including traveling for face-to-face sessions as needed.

Requirements

  • Understanding of policies and practices related to the protection of vulnerable people.
  • To operate with integrity, honesty and empathy.
  • To have held a position of authority, including supervising personnel, overseeing projects and financial resources.
  • Exceptional at making prudent decisions in challenging circumstances.
  • A solid level of comprehensive education.
  • Full Driving licence is required.

    • Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate resource usage and identify efficiencies.
