Job Description

Role Overview

A leading UK charity is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Fundraiser to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to driving forward the charity's mission by securing vital trust funding that supports transformative programs. The successful candidate will play a key part in identifying new opportunities for funding, crafting persuasive grant applications, and building strong relationships with donors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively research and identify new trust opportunities to support the charity's services (up to 40K).
  • Develop compelling funding applications in collaboration with Service Teams.
  • Income generate for grants worth 15-40K
  • Manage relationships with existing funders, ensuring effective stewardship, including writing detailed donor reports and reviewing financial statements.
  • Work closely with the Head of Trusts and Foundations on high-value grant applications and strategic planning for smaller trusts.
  •  Engage directly with donors and stakeholders through phone calls, meetings, and events.
  •  Monitor and report on income and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in trust and fundraising activities – at least 2 years.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a talent for serving as an effective advocate when interacting with partners and potential supporters.
  • Expertise in relationship fundraising and engaging directly with donors.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to perform accurately and efficiently under pressure.
